Building the National Iceskating Stadium in Velký Osek is definitely an exceptional matter. Exceptional both due to the fact that there is no roofed speed iceskating stadium in the Czech Republic and in terms of the method of construction. The skaters themselves have the opportunity to build this National Iceskating Stadium. The local authority of Velký Osek helped to launch the project by voting for and founding the Velkoosecká sportovní, a. s. (joint-stock company). And it is not the aid to be taken for granted. The invested community land is worth CZK 17 million. The world speed skating champion Martina Sáblíková and her coach Petr Novák as well as the whole NowiS Team have decided to back the project not only by their names and global contacts but they are ready to operate the stadium to ensure that the operation is feasible. The project is supported by the management of the Czech Speed Skating Federation and the Governor of Central Bohemia Region Petr Bendl. Figure skaters also joined the project, namely the double professional champions of the world René Novotný and Radka Kovaříková.

The only thing that is left now is to actually build the National Iceskating Stadium in Velký Osek. You might have noticed that the word "national" has been emphasized throughout the text. Yes, it is you, active as well as avocational sportsmen and sportswomen, who are going to build your skating stadium. You, speed skaters, short trackers, amateur hockey players, sledge hockey players, figure skaters, the devotees to curling as well as ice speedway, will build it. It will be built by you, all the enthusiasts who like skating and who have missed this stadium in our country.

There is also a chance for the founders and management of universities, secondary and primary schools as well as kindergartens. For them and their students and pupils there is an offer of lessons in skating and sports. The proverb, "People that play don't make trouble," can be updated by: "People that do sports don't dope!" It is also a chance for employers with subsequent use of employee benefits. And last but not least, there is also an opportunity for health insurance funds and their preventative schemes. Each of those who will purchase a CZK 10,000 worth season ticket after the National Skating Stadium in Velký Osek is finished will have a chance to skate at his/her "own" stadium in the years 2010-2014. For CZK 10,000 there will be 250 hours of skating available (50 hours a year). Yes, even in 2014 you will be able to skate for CZK 40/hour in Velký Osek, even at the time when they will pay with Euros for the tickets at other stadiums. And not only. By signing the Pre-Contract and later by signing the Contract on Use of the National Iceskating Stadium in Velký Osek you will be entitled to the right of option for another 5 years. In fact it will mean that even in 2019 you will still skate in Velký Osek for CZK 40/hour. And note! As the season ticket is transferable, you will be able to lend, possibly sell it to another person. In the first period only 50,000 season tickets will be issued.

Starting from 1 January, 2008 the Preliminary Contract on Use of the National Iceskating Stadium in Velký Osek will be available at the www.superbrusleni.cz website. If our project has spoken to you, print it and send it with verified signature to the address Velkoosecká sportovní, a.s., Revoluční 36, 281 51 Velký Osek. By signing the Preliminary Contract you will state your will that you will buy the seasonal ticket within 14 days from the approval of the National Iceskating Stadium for use. That way you will join the "builders" of the stadium as well as provide skating and healthy lifestyle to yourself, your family, friends, sports team, pupils and employees.

And finally, let's ask ourselves a question: „ Who is going to build the National Skating Stadium, if not us? And when if not now? “
